Schooling & Work
Schooling and the right to work are the most powerful tools in overcoming extreme poverty.
Maame Africa Care works to increase access to quality education for the needy and less privileged. Our programs provide tailored solutions to students facing multiple barriers to education to acquire relevant skills, creating opportunities for positive transitions to secondary school and dignified livelihoods.
People want to earn income as their equals but they face many barriers in the workplace and at home.
These can be issues they face at work, such as unequal working conditions, and challenges outside of the ‘workplace’, including in their homes, in their communities, and during their commute.
These all have an impact on their ability to stay in work, the conditions of their work, and whether they benefit from the money they earn.
Maame Africa Care works around Ghana, West Africa to ensure the needy and the less privileged can access dignified work opportunities.

Health Drive
Strengthening Healthcare
Maame Africa Care is working to support more effective and motivated health workers. We also increase health systems’ ability to serve the the needy and less privileged. We know local communities are experts on their own situations and working together is the best way to build strong, self-sustaining, and equitable health systems.
Adolescents’ Health
Adolescence is a unique window of opportunity to shape healthy and successful development. Unfortunately, millions of young people around the world are vulnerable to threats like early marriage, school dropout, unemployment, violence, HIV, and unplanned pregnancy.
Maame Africa Care is working to provide high-quality health information and services to youth as well as adults. Maame Africa Care envisions a world where all young people have the knowledge, skills, capacity, and opportunities they need to transition into a healthy and productive adulthood.
Letter From The Founder

My name is Mrs. Helen Obeng and I am the Founder of The Helen Obeng Foundation. I am joyful about the impact that my personal commitment (The Helen Obeng Foundation) makes on society specifically to the vulnerable or less privilege, for which reason this Foundation was established.
As part of our Community Initiatives, our Foundation is embarking on a project, dubbed “THE HEALTH DRIVE CAMPAIGN” and “SPONSOR A CHILD TO SCHOOL”. This project has a target beneficiaries of One Hundred (100) people, who are going to have their basic health needs assessed and given the necessary aid in other to stay healthy and strong. This will also help us to better prepare our self to help our beneficiaries to have hope of a better schooling experience, as well as, to be college and career-ready to unleash their God-given potentials for the benefit of their families and society.
The Helen Obeng Foundation is committed to ensuring that all its beneficiaries have every opportunity available to proper medical care and good livelihood, as well as having access to good health care needs and opportunities.
Our Foundation believes that, together, we can create a supportive, engaged communities and networking opportunities to all beneficiaries, in the form of medical care opportunities and required basic health needs accessibility.
We wish to ask for your genuine financial support to make this project a reality, no amount is too small to give a helping hand to a deprived community.
The Helen Obeng Foundation hopes you will join our efforts to ensure the plight of the vulnerable is minimised and if possible eradicated to make our human society a better one for us all. Thank you.
