Future Plans

Our Foundation believes that, the remedy to extreme poverty is not a one-off charity event, rather, about giving together as a people. We therefore seek to offer a platform for collaborative impact to eradicate the demon referred to as poverty.

We will work with strategic partners to help realise our goal, starting from well-meaning individuals to philanthropist, corporate organisations and the government.
The Foundation will be actively involved in community development initiatives to address extreme poverty situations in the slums, from food drive to scholarships, economic and business empowerment funds for men and women and relocation of families from the slums to urban areas for better quality of life.

Also, one key area of interest to our Foundation is providing care to retired ministers of the gospel. We hope to collaborate with the appropriate bodies and authorities to give a better retirement life to these men and women of God, who dedicated their lives to preaching and bringing men and women to the gospel light.

Again, providing a home for the homeless is a priority of our Foundation. The Helen Obeng Foundation (HOF) seeks to open our “HATO Village” project at the celebration of its 10th Anniversary, together with support from our strategic partners, this dream will become a reality.

The HATO Village will become a home for the homeless, providing food, shelter and education to homeless children taken from the streets. This will help unleash their potentials for the benefit of the society in general.
