Our Story
Maame Africa Care (MAC) and The Helen Obeng Foundation (HOF) was founded by Helen Obeng in 2020 as a representation of her personal commitment to making the world a better place for others.
The Foundation became fully registered and incorporated under the laws of Ghana in July, 2021.
Maame Africa Care (MAC) and The Helen Obeng Foundation (HOF) is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) focused on improving the quality of life for vulnerable people living in extreme poverty in underserved communities across Ghana.
We seek to empower families with networking opportunities for education, skill development, decent work, feeding and shelter. Our Foundation envisioned a world free of extreme poverty, where everyone has a good taste of greatness, regardless of their background.

Our Vision
OUR vision is to be a source of hope for the vulnerable and marginalized communities, to provide them with access to the basic necessities of life, and to develop their capabilities that will help Society.
Our Mission
OUR Mission is to provide financial and non-financial support in the form of funds, scholarships, skills training or apprenticeship programs.
Additionally, our goal is to provide emotional and spiritual guidance to the less fortunate to help them develop and unleash their potential.
Future Plans
Our Foundation believes that, the remedy to extreme poverty is not a one-off charity event, rather, about giving together as a people. We therefore seek to offer a platform for collaborative impact to eradicate the demon referred to as poverty.
